Golf Instruction
Everyone should use professional guidance regarding their golf game. The professionals at Pete Dye River Course of Virginia Tech have golf instruction programs geared to make your learning experience rewarding and enjoyable. The question we hear most is, "What type of instruction is best for me?"
Individual Instruction
Individual instruction is popular among all golfers, but is typically best for intermediate and advanced players who are looking to take their game to the next level. It is also an excellent option for any player looking for help with a particular aspect of their game. Each lesson is approximately 35-40 minutes.

Group Instruction
Group golf instruction is a great choice for beginners, friends and organizations. Taking lessons with others who have similar interests and skill levels can make learning more enjoyable and productive.
Adult Clinics
Many other instructional opportunities can be provided upon request such as playing lessons for on-course play and video instruction for intricate swing detail review.
Developed for beginning and intermediate players, a 5-clinic series is offered each month. Each series includes instruction on the fundamental set-up and technique for putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play and the full swing. Each clinic series will be limited to the first 10 students to enroll at $100 per player. The clinics will be held from 5:30-6:30 PM on the following Tuesdays & Thursdays:

Scoring Clinics
Improving your short game is one of the quickest and most effective ways to lower your scores. Sign up for one or all three of these short game scoring clinics. These clinics will be limited to the first six students to enroll at $25 per session and will be held from 6:30-7:30 PM on the following dates:

| August 10 - Refinement of Putting |
Junior Clinics
This program blends a fun combination of instruction, practice games, rules and etiquette. Each clinic is limited to the first 10 students to enroll. The charge for each clinic is $20 per junior or $15 for multiple juniors attending from the same household. The clinics will are held from 9:30-10:30 AM on the following Saturdays:
