SATURDAY MORNING JUNIOR CLINICS
This program blends a fun combination of instruction, practice games, rules and etiquette. Each clinic is limited to the first 10 students to enroll. The charge for each clinic is $20 per junior or $15 for multiple juniors attending from the same household. The clinics will are held from 9:30-10:30 AM on the following Saturdays:

VIRGINIA TECH JUNIOR GOLF CAMP
Our 2010 Junior Camp came to close on Friday July, 9th. This year's camp featured 5 PGA Professional instructors and was attended by 25 kids between the ages of 5-14. The curriculum included an introduction to the fundamentals, a rules and etiquette class, a golf art class, playing opportunities, numerous skills challenges, a long drive competition and a pizza party. The camp provided a fun environment to learn, build relationships, and be exposed to friendly competition. Please check back this winter for details about our 2011 camp.
2010 JUNIOR GOLF EVENTS AT "THE RIVER"
In addition to the PDRC Junior Golf Clinic during the week of July 5th - 9th, the Pete Dye River Course is pleased to host several junior golf events during the 2010 golf season including the Blue Ridge Junior Golf Tour and The Virginias' Junior Golf Tour. Both of these organizations offer boys and girls divisions based on age range. Blue Ridge Junior Golf Tour
The BRJGT offers young people an outstanding opportunity to learn the game of golf and to play the game by the rules. Participation is open to all junior golfers regardless of their skill levels. The BRJGT is committed to "Building Character and Sportsmanship through Golf." "The River" will host the BRJGT Golf Academy on Saturday May 15th and a tournament on Monday, July 12th. The Virginias' Junior Golf Tour
The Virginias' Junior Golf Tour serves junior golfers in Virginia and West Virginia in coordination with the Capital Area Golf Tour, First Citizens Junior Golf Tour of Central Virginia, the Blue Ridge Junior Golf Tour and the Roanoke Valley Junior Golf Tour. The Virginias' Junior Golf Tour provides opportunities for the Virginias' top junior golfers to compete and play against the best players in their age divisions. The VJGT events are two-day, 36 hole events and are ranked by National Junior Golf Scoreboard. The VJGT Open at the Pete Dye River Course of Virginia Tech will be played on Saturday and Sunday, June 19-20.
