PDRC Ladies Prepare to Tee Off for Member-Member Tournament
Ladies Association
The Pete Dye River Course Ladies Association would like to encourage ALL women golfers to come out and play. The purpose of the organization is to promote friendly competition and fellowship among women golfers in the area. Membership at the Pete Dye River Course of Virginia Tech is not a requirement.
The Ladies Association plays every Wednesday morning in an 18 hole league. The ladies compete on an annual basis and various ladies events include: Member/Guest, Club Championship, Blue Ridge Women's Golf Event, Ringer Score and Birdie Tree.

PDRC LADIES MEMBER-MEMBER EVENT
The Ladies Golf Association of the Pete Dye River Course of Virginia Tech held their Member-Member Golf Tournament on Wednesday, August 5, 2009. Low Gross Winners for the event were Shirley Lowman and Carol Wiley; Low Net Winners for the event were Juanita Petrone and Sandy Tarter. A cookout was held after the event and prizes were awarded.
PDRC LADIES MEMBER-GUEST EVENT 2009
The Ladies Association held their annual Member-Guest Tournament on Wednesday, August 12th. Low gross winners for the event were Juanita Petrone and Robbie Unger with a combined score of 186. Low net winners for the tournament were Joi Crawford and Nancy Alcorn who turned in a net 149. Congratulations to the winners! Following the event participants enjoyed a late lunch and John Norton awarded prizes.
