The Hackin' Hokies Lounge & Grill

Blacksburg's upscale dining and sports pub, Bull & Bones Brewhaus & Grill, will operate food and beverage services in the Hackin' Hokie grill and lounge in the new clubhouse. Operating as Bull & Bones at The River, guests will enjoy great food and service as offered at their Blacksburg location in our causally elegant setting. The menu will feature many of the favorite appetizers and entrees from their Blacksburg location including wood fired barbecue, to "Dye" for ribs, chicken, seafood, steaks and vegetarian selections as well as hand crafted lagers and ales and other favorite beverages. The grill area features vaulted ceilings, exposed beam construction, a two-sided Hokie Stone fireplace and patio dining offering panoramic views of the New River and the golf course. The food, the service and our spectacular setting will offer a fun and memorable dining experience.

Meetings/Conference Rooms and Catered Events

The clubhouse also features flexible conference and meeting areas which are available for rent to the university and the public for special events accommodating as many as 150 people for a seated event and up to 200 with overflow seating on the elevated patio - weather permitting. The conference/meeting areas open onto the patio offering amazing views. The River Course maintains a list of approved caterers (including Bull & Bones) to service these events. Caterers operate from a catering area separate from the grill kitchen to service your guests.
